He was creeping back into my good graces
Each little step led to my confused mindset
I begged myself to stay firm upon my perch
There was too much at stake
I wondered why he laid down tiny clues
that could be misinterpreted
To make me go mad it seems
They were bold moves by him
Yet, seemingly innocent by all means
It's like a beautiful vine of ivy
That is so green and inviting
That creeps up the trunk of the tree
To find it's way to me
I have been touched by the pointed leaf
That seduces my heart to believe
That only I can see
of this love that lies within the branches of this tree
